1.My first goal for this internship is to learn more about asthma and also commit deeply into the research. Since my whole family has asthma, I have great interest in asthma. I think this internship is a great opportunity to know more about asthma and allow me to explore and commit more on studying sick that many people suffer.
My second goal is to get an idea for my future. Even though I am not the smartest science person, I am interested in science. The science that I have learned is all what I about science in general and I have never had opportunity to explore my knowledge of something particular. Therefore, I am looking forward to get an idea of what it is like to be in college and be in lab.
2. Successful intern should actively commit to the lab and pay attention to each details that professor says. Since I will be the only intern and don’t have advance knowledge that college students and professor have, I should actively commit to the lab, and instead of waiting that someone tells me something, I should look for something that they need me to help. Also intern should fully understand that this internship is not play, be very careful, pay attention to everything, and learn many new things.
